About Us
The Unitarian Universalist Church of Urbana-Champaign is a spiritually diverse 300+ member congregation whose mission is to build community, seek inspiration, promote justice, and find peace.We currently are a growing mid-sized congregation with enormous generational and
sexual orientation/gender expression diversity, deep commitment to justice work and
spiritual deepening, comfort with change, and a healthy lay leadership and shared
ministry culture. Our vibrant Social Action Council includes teams dedicated to racial,
immigration, and queer justice with deep ties to community partners in Champaign
County.
Our church is located a half-mile from campus, near downtown Urbana, in a historic stone building, with a mid-century modern wing that houses congregational life and Faith Development programs.

Minister of Faith Development
Urbana, IL
This role heads up the Faith Development ministries for children, youth and emerging adults, and families. We currently serve nearly 100 children and youth and over 70 families. Our lifespan OWL program includes classes from kindergarten through older adults. Children are actively engaged in all-ages worship and serve as worship associates with their families.
