Iowa City writer Andy Douglas will lead a conversation based on his new book, "Strength for What Lies Ahead: Restoring Balance in a Time of Crisis." We’ll strategize around themes of community, resilience, ecological restoration, economic democracy, spirituality, and our relationship with the natural world, and talk about how we can shift from a narrative of extraction and separation toward one of connection, balance, and care. We'll have some break-out group discussions. There will be singing!
