Robyn DiPietro

Robyn DiPietro (she/her)

Robyn is a lifelong Urbana native...save for 13 years spent in NC, VA, and TN courtesy of her husband's military career from 2000-2013. She and her husband, Tim, live in Urbana with too many kids (4) and even more pets (5)! She earned her B.S. in elementary education in 1999 and her Ed.M. in Education Policy, Organization and Leadership in 2020, both from UIUC. She has worked in the Special Education Department in the College of Education at UIUC since 2015. She enjoys yoga, pilates, meditation, reading, puzzling, coloring, singing, and watching college football! As a triple water sign her favorite place is the beach and she's lucky enough to spend a week there every October! One day when her kids are "off the payroll," she dreams of spending several months of the year listening to the waves, feeling sand between her toes, and soaking up the sun! 

Joan Gary

Joan Gary grew up and attended college in Pennsylvania. She is a retired Parkland College math professor and studies metal smithing/jewelry making as a hobby. 

Chris Kunka

I grew up in a tiny town in the countryside surrounding CU and moved to Champaign in 2002. I started attending UUCUC looking for an LGBTIA+ welcoming community active in Social Justice. I have one daughter, and a chosen family group of 3 other daughters. I enjoy performing with the CrUUners and the UU Choir. I'm looking forward to learning more about Unitarian Universalism and making new friends.
