Alyssa (they/them) is thrilled to be part of the UUC community! Originally from Colorado, they moved here to pursue a degree in Photography at the University of Illinois and has called Urbana home ever since. After graduating in 2020, they have been working various jobs including getting their photography and crafting business off the ground and other freelance work. They are very excited to help bring new ideas to the Membership role and continue the work on social media and EnUUs. In their free time, they love to go camping with their dog Masha or take long hikes with their whole pack, Bucky, Masha, and Sitka. They have a guinea pig named Rob Zombie as well as a lovely corn snake named Kratos. They are also an avid cosplayer and crafter and are constantly looking for new crafts to learn and to expand their constant well of crafting knowledge.

Creel Unbelove'd

Creel Forever Unbelove’d, Forest Daughter (she/her)
I am a Champaign native. I have studied anthropology with a lot of linguistics and archeology at the U of I. My faith is pagan druidry both Ár nDraíocht Féin (ADF) and Ancient Order of Druids in America (AODA). I have completed the Dedicant’s Path in ADF and have reached Apprentice status in AODA.
I love bread baking, talkie cats, and tree identification. I write poetry, make junk journals, and beaded jewelry.
I joined UUC-UC to be around kind people who treat all humans as valuable and who take fellowship, food, and friendship seriously. And, of course, because of Rev. Beth. She is exactly what we need in these challenging times.

I moved to West Lafayette, IN, from Bozeman, MT, in 2014 to be closer to my daughter and new granddaughter. Then, I followed them to Champaign in 2020.
I spend my time helping care for my granddaughter, exercising, reading, and taking care of my two Cavalier King Charles Spaniels. I'm interested in environmental and natural resource issues and enjoy getting out in natural areas to "recharge"! I'm also desperately seeking a part-time job!

Urbana has been home for me since 2023, and before that I lived in Seattle and NE Ohio. I enjoy spending time in beautiful places, especially in nature, doing arts and crafts projects, and spoiling my cat Harmony.
