“The Next Step in the the Next Steps Process”

Last October, Rachel Maxwell led UUCUC in the Next Steps process to determine our readiness for a capital campaign.  A crucial aspect of "readiness" is embracing a shared vision for the future of our church community.

The goal of the Listening Circles is to help identify priorities for the future.   The Board of Trustees has created a Visioning Taskforce, to create the Listening Circles process, collect information during the Circles, and summarize the responses into a clear set of Strategic Priorities.

Members and friends of UUCUC are invited to participate in the Listening Circles to share their thoughts and listen to the ideas of others.

Twenty volunteers have been trained as facilitators for twenty circles scheduled from March 19th through April 19th. Each circle can accommodate up to 10 participants and will last approximately 90 minutes.

For the Listening Circles - 

Some will be in-person; 

Some will be online; 

Some will be at church; 

Some will be at a host’s home;

Some will be held in conjunction with a UUCUC small group activity;

Some will be on Sundays (and will probably have childcare available);

Some will be on other days of the week.
