The modern environmental movement marks Earth Day in April 1970 as a turning point and a rallying cry. From our vantage point in 2022, we feel the urgency of every day as “earth day” against mounting evidence of climate change. Inspired by reading “All We Can Save: Truth, Courage, and Solutions for the Climate Crisis,” an anthology of writing by women at the forefront of the climate movement, this service is first in a three-part series featuring local activists working on behalf of the interconnectedness of nature and humanity at large.
